That was what drove our team of industry insiders in 1998 to establish ELS European Labelling System. This aspiration, combined with the desire to offer efficient and individual labelling solutions of the highest quality, forms the basis for the success of "ELS Label Technology" at national and international level.
Since 1998 ELS European Labelling System GmbH has been among the leading manufacturers of labelling and printing systems for self-adhesive labels. Systems from ELS meet the highest requirements in terms of quality, reliability, precision and efficiency. They are used everywhere in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and media industries - including in high-risk hygiene environments.
For a consistently high level of manufacturing, ELS today meets important quality standards such as certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Our labelling and printing systems are developed in close cooperation with the end user. This means that they are thought through to the final detail, and they are ideal for daily use in practice. If required, we can also manufacture customised products to your particular specification - with of course the highest quality standards in both materials and design.
All incoming orders are first checked by us for technical feasability, and only then does the project management stage begin. The first drawings are produced in the Design Department, before detailed costings are calculated. Manufacturing and assembly then commence in our Production Department. All our products are subjected to a 48 hour test under actual operating conditions, before they are delivered. In order to ensure that our systems continue to operate faultlessly over the long term, our after-sales service is always available for every eventuality.
Our products are high-performance, extremely functional and were developed with the aim of consistently raising your productivity. So that you benefit immediately from this, we can offer you training for your staff, and we give your machine operators comprehensive instruction in the operation of our automatic labellers and systems.

Examples of this are our company building, which complies with the Low Energy Standard, and our combined heat and power system, with which we can largely generate the electricity and heating for the site ourselves. In addition to this, our offices are organised on an almost entirely paperless basis, and there is a comprehensive system of waste separation for all recyclable materials and bio waste.
